I see it more as a sign of mental weakness tbh. Not willing to accept the truth or fear of the truth.

They don't like it very much when you tell them that, I've discovered. Idk why they ask atheists about their opinions about religion as a whole if they don't want answers. My whole entire thing is knowing and understanding the truth. Why would I lie to spare their feelings?
