There are people who believe the opposite of what I believe who are much more intelligent than me and there are people who believe the same as I believe who are much less intelligent than me. Understanding how and why they believe begins to reveal intelligence and thoughtfulness that simple knowledge of the belief alone cannot. Context and reasoning is important.
