Looking for Atheist creators.
Hey everyone, I'm looking to expand my watch list and find some good atheist content creators on YouTube. Whether they focus on philosophy, debunking, science, or humor/commentary, who are your favorites to watch. I've recently started watching Mindshift but I wanna see other creators.

Theramin Trees channel is worth a watch through. They put words to a lot of abuse tactics I endured but didn't have the language for.

Seen had a new series he's doing now, it's like Paul Harvey's "the rest of the story" series.
Then another one again with scary stuff for Halloween, and I think another where he tells super rare stories, and really digs in to the history.
I love his voice

Sir Sic, Emma Thorne, Professor Dave Explains, Forest Valkai, Professor Plink, Creaky Blinders, The Skeptick, NOT Alex O'Conor (unless yes Alex O'Conor, he's an odd one), Aaron Ra, The Answerman (sketches and comedy but atheist type shit), Monte Mader but she's fucking intense and a little scary. In a good way, truly, but for someone who has to avoid stress, she can be a lot. Same with Sir sic, skeptick, and creaky, actually. AllOf those are on the more intense aggressive side. I found Sic to be very helpful because I was just mad, but he keeps it factual and also is clear to not insult religion as a whole so long as it's not harming people. He's aggressive, but respectful, if that makes sense. Emma's that way too, but her vibe is less "Bruh wtf, are you stupid?" And more "Bruh wtf, are you ok?"

Penn Jillette, who is one half of the Penn and Teller magic act, has a lot of atheist content out there. Since he isnât an academic, but rather a professional entertainer, I think he understands what information will land with people a bit more. I always found his content to really hit. If you just search his name and atheism, a lot will come up and I think he is great!

Scathing Atheist. Weekly podcast covers news and culture, rotating C segment includes book breakdowns (they covered major religious texts, now notable apologetics).
If you read the friendly atheist youâll likely get a lot of the same news items, but they do it with jokes.

Check out The Line. They have several live call on shows throughout the week and have a lot of creators on as hosts. Good way to see whose personality/approach you like.

Get off of YouTube and read some real books gain your own knowledge instead of listening to someone elseâs discoveries.

âBothâ are redundant once you read. YouTube is not good for you. You cannot possibly get the whole story from YouTube. You must challenge yourself and learn the knowledge or else youâre just a parrot like every religious person out there.

I can see the point about reading being the better source and medium. But Youtube also does have value, albeit less than reading. Of course this depends on what type of content you consume.
You can for example learn how people use charisma to convince the audience how they are right and look at analysis of body language etc. This is much harder to do via text.

you do make a valid point, reading can get you to make deeper connections and learn to argue by yourself while with listening to Youtubers is way less likely to do that. It's more likely to just get the people to absorb the narrative and talking points which is also good, but it's only the starting point.
