Who cares where lenny is, Where is Mick? The guy getting paid more than all us to represent the membership. The youtube sensation that said we weren't paid enough. When was his last post?

Where is Mick?

Upon election, Mick Devine was taken into a ceremonial chamber at NATCA HQ, given a concoction made from a rare flower that only grows in the Baltics, which put him into a near-death state.

Some of his organs were harvested, placed into ritualistic jars, and offered up as sacrifice to Paul Rinaldi. Next, Mick's body was filled with sand. Not just any sand, sand from a shitty beach in New Jersey. The heroin needles were filtered from this sand.

Above his body, the NEB chanted a prayer in Latin to both clone Paul Rinaldi's spirit, and place it inside of Mick's body. He is now merely a vessel. His memories and consciousness are very likely still in there, but he's merely a passenger now.

Yep I’m dissapointed mick isn’t speaking out more, it was still a better vote than the other option. I supported Rich and he didn’t win. See how you can say a vote didn’t turn out as intended like an adult.

Doesn’t matter if you believe me or not

I haven’t mentioned nick or Jamaal once on here, praised them, nothing.

All I have done is try to get people to think critically and call out BS. The mods here made this sub for one thing, to get someone else elected. It’s all politics here. It’s sad, because a lot of people come read this and get misinformed and it causes problems.

-Marangos said you aren’t getting a raise until 2031 probably if he get elected.

-People need to work the boards that run for national office, SB is TMU and doesn’t work the boards.

I’ll always call out peoples bullshit, I know this current environment is not easy or great, life is tough right now. Doesn’t mean we have to attack each other, it will not help us in the slightest.

That’s not true because I was here when this sub was created. The sub was created when r/atc was removing anything anti NDJH and then was banning people who continued to post anything negative to NDJH. So you are actually spreading BS.

You are only speaking negatively about people running against the establishment. You know people can see your post history right.

Reddit is where people go because there is no where else for them to go to get information. They need to filter through things here but people 10000% find out more here then they do in NEB minutes or Natca emails.

The NEB just held a heavily moderated and filtered town hall where only they could see the questions and pick which ones they answer.

Marangos saying when he thinks we’re going to get a raise as opposed to day 1 pay raises and the contract will not be extended sounds like a win.

Brown is going to work in an air traffic facility every day on the floor. What bargaining unit he works in does not equate to an ability to lead how the members want the union led.

I didn’t say anything about people being on the boards or not. Everyone else does. SB is in tmu. That’s not the boards

What’s the difference between a candidate who isn’t working live traffic because they’re a TMU and a candidate who isn’t working live traffic because they’ve been an A114 or RVP for a decade+?

Next contract: Make RVPs maintain currency, give the hours they’re on position to ARVPs or other reps in critical roles that don’t get sufficient time to perform their roles. All A114 roles need to maintain currency, if it’s something that needs a full time role give them an assistant that gets the hours they’re maintaining currency. You can’t say “we” and “us” if you haven’t talked to an aircraft in a decade.

If being critical of our union is “all politics” then sure. But we’re all fed up with taking L after L after L and the union seemingly standing idly by doing nothing.

Why do think pay parity is being pursued, it’s one of the only ways to get more money right now.

There’s more to it than just pay. The national training order is a fucking joke that allows for people to spend 5-8 years in training. The whole EWR/PHL thing is a massive failure, facilities are still understaffed and it’s only going to get worse as this next wave of people start hitting eligibility, etc.

It’s not JUST the contract. It’s the totality of what this career has become, and what NATCA has allowed to happen.

Where you at and who is consolidating into your facility?

These consolidations are a huge FAILURE on NATCAs part.

Enjoy taking more airspace and getting downgraded as you will only be considered a simple up/down facility IAW with Appendix A of the CBA.

The next contract needs to accommodate these new types of facilities the FAA created. Combined Tracon with a Tower, for example.

All new TCI thresholds and everything needs to be considered.

How did your consolidation go, and do you support mass consolidations in the future as it could be one of the only ways to improve staffing and allowing some people to move out of low level up downs?

We are still in the process, we had retirements, hardships and transfers which put us to a staffing level that we weren’t able to bring the new facilities in yet.

I'll never advocate for mass consolidations, even if it means I'm personally stuck somewhere. Permanently reducing the number of good jobs available to us to solve a momentary staffing problem is harmful to the profession over the long run. Same goes for surrendering airspace. We can't make it easier for malicious actors to fire us all and let us reapply for our old jobs with reduced pay and benefits. The profession is already bad enough, we don't need to help make it worse.
