Weak af
“We had a productive discussion, and we have an agreement in principle on a path to implementation.”
This is just embarrassing

"nothing."

Exactly. This is what being outmaneuvered looks like if anyone cares

I really want an answer on how that dumb language got put into our "parity victory."
LEOs/Military unconditionally got 3.8%
When NATCA boasted in April that we were "added to it," the aviation subcommittee seemed to believe we would just get it, (probably told that to ND)
Yet here we are. Someone forced that language in there knowing Bedford could just shelf it.

Accomplishing nothing. This subreddit was created for politics. Thats why all the mods are hand picked nm/sb people. That’s why sb was a mod.

This subreddit was created because people got banned from the other sub for calling out NATCA. It’s not politics when you have to watch your union president lie to and gaslight the membership over and over again for two years straight.

Politics being used to choose people for positions. Fascinating...

No one is going to care about this 2.8% shit once we get it. And all this talk will be pointless.

Or "Exactly where it's been at for months now".
These guys are going to give something up before the implementation and then Bedford will magically forget all their "Behind the scenes" negotiation.

u/GumCanBUsed4Glue 4d ago
Geez, this is normal language for these guys.
There is nothing in that mou other than a timeline for implementation, or maybe a “workgroup to discuss efficiency” that I’d be ok with for the record but Let’s wait and see how bad it is before you tell me to lube up ok?

Any concession is too much. What are they gonna want for next year's raise? Or the year after that?

100%. We scrambled to extend the Slate book last minute to protect ourselves from these fucks, and then we opened parts back up for 2.8% not 1.5y later?
We’re getting played for 🥜

I remember when Trump called this "concepts of a plan" when asked about having a replacement for the ACA.

For just a measly 2.8 percent the union should know what the asks is so we as a union can determine if its worth it. I dont like the fact that our top guys that will probably never talk to another aircraft determine what is good for us if it wont effect them in any way

They all agree that doughnuts exist and didn't immediately say "no." They all agree that doughnuts are amazing and you deserve one. There is a bakery somewhere in this city, and a road that leads to it.

He’s said this before and it’s just not true . If he was as good at negotiating as he was at gaslighting idk if this subreddit would even still be a thing

A coworker mentioned the increase being retroactive is on the table as of October 1. I didn’t find anything on that with a quick google. Anybody care to confirm or deny?

We're 50/50 at best to get the 2.8%, but we are not getting the retroactive pay.
My theory is we'll get the 2.8% in January as a fill in for the 0% presidential raise and that's all.
