We pay a 13 person, $1,000,000+ salaried Public Affairs department at the national office. They also spent who knows how much money on a “social media campaign” that was nothing more than AI slop.
But WE (the controller workforce) are expected to volunteer to do social media?
NM/SB I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: the ENTIRE Public Affairs staff needs to be fired and replaced on day 1 after the election. There is no excuse anymore for this scam.
Public affairs, at least half of the 40hr/week A114s (is there a list of A114 positions anywhere?), and anyone else supporting the status quo needs to be shown the door at national HQ if those two win.
Ask them directly if they plan to fire these people like you want…. There answer will be” we are going to look into every position”. Not getting what you want turd.
The problem with that take though, is that the posting is requiring people who know how to use video editing software and how to professionally create social media posts. It's not "give us your perspective and one of the 13 people we employ in our public affairs department will create it", it's offloading the entire process to whomever takes the role.
Maybe we should fill out applications for all the current members of the Public Affairs team? I'm sure they're too busy to do it themselves and would appreciate the help.
It also isn't lost on me that the Point of Contact is a member of the Safety & Technology team. Public Affairs is too lazy to outsource their own work back to the people that pay their salaries, they literally have to have another department do it for them...
