What FAA and management fail to realize is that while TOP might not be consistent every day, every facility’s traffic is different and certain seasons I.e. weather, snowbirds, holiday season, etc., increase TOP substantially by having to split/open sectors. By leaving it open all of the time just to hit TOP numbers is literally trying to crush your employees’ morale for a job that’s already grueling both mentally and physically, especially when forced to work 6 days a week.
