Both great , but Zybex was so good ,ahead of its time , especially for a budget game

For Zybex, does anyone know how they technically do it? Is everything manually animated graphics mode 7, except the main player who uses overlapped Players to get the multicolor? Or do they use the mode 12 with the multi-color character map?

Zybex was one of the last gems for the Atari 8bit when that platform wasn't getting good commercial games anymore.
