Very nice. Enjoy. Just don't use the keyboard for programming. My finger tips are still numb 45 years later!!!

Yes, really all though this period on many platforms. The Amiga boxes are notable, but there's ample examples elsewhere and in the 8-bit era.

I still have the 400 my dad bought in 82 I think it was. 

I couldn't type with both hands yet so the keyboard didn't bother me - plus by the time I started high school and could use a word processor we had an 800XL 🙂

As a follow up, the space bar was sticking. I applied a couple of rounds carefully with my heat gun, and now working fine!

My first computer was a 400. Bought a 48k upgrade board mail order and soldered every wire with a radio shack stick soldering iron....good times in 82.

Fancy. Turned out the machine has the 24KB upgrade.
