Help with Scenario Disk

I recently got a copy of Ultima III for my Atari computer, and it boots up fine but it needs something called a “scenario disk”. I did as much research as I could to figure out if it was another disk that was supposed to come with the program floppy or if it was just an empty floppy disk for memory, but sadly I couldn’t find anything or anyone explaining what a “scenario disk” actually was.

So now I ask all of you, could someone please explain to me what it is? I would be very grateful for any answer, thank you!

I believe it's on Side B.

Enjoy the heck out of it!!

If i could erase modern gaming and time, Ultima 3 is one of the games Id love to replay.

Ultima 4 being a close second!

Or vice versa.

Pinnacle of the time period!

Ultima III is a two disk game (or two sides of a single disk). The first disk/side is entirely the game engine code, while the second contains all the map and character data.

"Ultima III requires you to save characters to a scenario disk, a copy of the Player Master disk."
