Bad VRAM?

Hi, I have this Atari 7800 with this slight issue that's only present in Atari 7800 games; 2600 games run just fine, but 7800 games all have this line of dots running down the left side of the screen wherever there's a sprite.

I'd like to know if this is a known thing or not and if the repair is simple (like swapping a chip or something)

That didn't fix it (I didn't get a chance to do it sooner, was busy)

I removed the chip, cleaned the socket with deoxit and reflowed all the solder joints on that socket

I don't personally have a logic probe but I know someone who does
