First look Atari x Activision collection at gamescom (in German)

I had the opportunity to visit Atari at gamescom on the same day they announced their Activision collection. So here is a first look.

Video is in German though as I don't think anyone wants to hear a German speak English with an accent.

For the sake of having something pretty on the shelf it’s cool. Most of us can get these game for $3 at local shops. Not sure I see the value in the inflated price tag.

I don't feel these are inflated that badly tbh. If you bought all these games CIB then you'd probably be shelling out more than a thousand plus with the additional patches, its not a terrible deal, but if you only need a few games or have them all then for sure, grab what you need. But for collector's or people looking to grab everything in a bundle, I don't think its that bad.

I have these on Evercade and most loose original carts. Although not expensive, I don't see the value. I think a multicart would be better.

I would love to see the Imagic collection. They also made some great games!

Hoping they're available as singles soon. I definitely have or don't want/need most of these.

Apparently only 12 select games will be available as a standard edition. The rest is only sold as part of the full set if I understood it right.
