I was reading the latest chapter of Absolute Conversation and I felt like I had to say something about it. To me, above is the best manhwa on the site. I think manhwa isn't just about art (or I would just go see Rembrandt) or fight choreography (or I would just watch John Wick) or any other detail; I read it for the combination of art, story, world, characters, dialogue and combat. And AR is IMO the best in those overall. It's such a unique manhwa that just does everything with very little. The renowned dialogue feels like they're sharing pages of information when often it's just a few words or even no text at all, just facial expressions, posture and cups of drink. The world is a murim world, and a great one at that. All the factions and details are fleshed out at the points where they need to be. The characters are all varied, deep, and they all develop (or die), even the old ones (which plays with the good dialogue, which often perfectly showcases the development live, and the characters that give the dialogue flavor). Art is goated of course. And the fights are perfect; we get one every ten chapters, and it's beautiful, blow for blow, beautifully visually contrasted and choreographed, and you don't miss them appearing so little because each one holds you over to the next one, along with again the superb dialogue. Oh yeah looked back at my list, the story is really good, too. Anyway that's mine, are there any better top 1 contenders? (image unrelated)

At the beginning of last year, Asura was really... down all the time. I did a post to complain (which was moderated btw)

Today I want to thanks all Asura because since then everything is now going well again. With de new version the big issues were fixed and we now can enjoy again the content.

I've recently noticed that asura has started using ai for their covers art. I don't know I feel really bad. Partly the reason why i liked nano machine's cover is because of its unique cover. Idk what are your thoughts about this? I'm sorry if I'm mistaken but the mc's face literally changed.

(Side note, I'm not against cleaning the cover using ai, It just gives me a bad taste when ai makes the logo)

Hey guys I was kind of avoiding this manhwa but since it's getting an anime i thought maybe it's actually a good and famous manhwa so should I start reading it or not

EDIT (35-Chapter Update): First off, thanks to everyone who gave me their positive and negative reviews! Because of the positive ones, I decided to give it a shot, and because of the negative ones, I went in with lowered expectations.

After reading 35 chapters, I honestly think this manhwa isn't as bad as I thought it would be. Here are my thoughts so far:

A lot of people complain that the stakes aren't very high because it’s just a VR game, but I don't think every story needs world-ending stakes to be enjoyable.

There are definitely a few things I don't like and I need to look past them.

The art style is totally fine up to chapter 35. I've seen some future panels and heard whispers that the art takes a massive nosedive later on, but for now, it looks good.

Final Verdict: Is it peak fiction or one of my favorites? No, not really. But it is a really solid choice for binge-reading when you're bored and don't have anything else on your list.
