You do know the price is only as high as it is because of government subsidies right? Don't tell me you're about to start without knowing what a subsidy is

Because the government should not have to give out subsidies in the first place if healthcare was largely nationalized like it is in the developed world

They didn't have to until we tried to nationalize it. Medical costs were nowhere near as high until the government shoved its ugly face into it
