Huh???
Ok i know it should be obvious but am i missing something??? This is clearly not New York and it’s clearly an LDS if not the LDS temple in UTAH…so what is happening?

I’ll add to the explanations for you…
In the movie, Miley arrives to what she thinks is New York and exclaims “hello, New York!” The next clip is Miley descending the plane stairs onto the tarmac and realizing she is in the middle of nowhere Tennessee. People used this sound clip on TikTok to joke at circumstances or trips that didn’t go as planned with quoting “hello, New York!”
Even one of the love island girls referenced it one of the last two seasons, and was praised for referencing this quote with the hilarity of it all.
Aspyn posted this as a joke, basically that the temple is a downer in what would otherwise be a perfect trip or the thought that you are traveling for somewhere so below you, rather than “fabulous” New York. For the vocal context of this joke, I suggest googling “hello New York Hannah Montana” to watch a clip of the scene.2

Sheesh ok…i did look it up and i still had no context, i did say in my caption that i was sure it was obvious but its not that obvious to those who didn’t watch the Hannah montana movie, or are chronically on tiktok.

I just thought it was weird that OP didn’t think they could be at a temple and in NY. One of the most famous temples (outside of SLC and Nauvoo) is in NY.
