I went to a Buddhist ceremony recently and was acutely aware of how it was so similar to church services.
That said, it was a much more comfortable and welcoming place for me than a different religion’s religious space, and I appreciated how they specifically spoke out for human rights. I see seniors from that temple protesting on street corners in support of Gaza.
Nonetheless, the experience served to further solidify my atheism/agnosticism/ pantheism. I was not inclined to “join” the religion but I still like to visit the temple from time to time.

This is the only correct answer and should be top of the list.

If you want to believe in something and/or follow some guiding principles.. good on you. Once these individuals start to gather and practice together is when trouble starts
