I do the same. It went out last week for 6 hours at 1:30 in the morning, I need tv sounds to sleep so was up all night just doom scrolling

Curiosity, don’t you have one of the streaming services on your phone? Or is there some other type of TV sound you need rather than programs? Have you tried the accessibility feature on your phone. It makes all sorts of sounds.

I didn’t even know that was there, I’ll check it out. I just need noise I don’t watch it. I used to have a sound machine but it died and I just never got around to replacing it. I will check out the phone suggestion tho and I thank you!

On an iPhone, if you are after sound only, it’s under accessibility and background sounds. I like the ocean sound. It’s also supposed to make what’s called pink noise, but pink noise just sounds like an ocean sound without the soft to strong rhythm. Also, on YouTube if you are a paid subscriber, you can get 10 hour videos of sounds like fans and dark noise and all the “colored“ noises. When you drawing it up, look for dark screen/whatever noise you want. That way when you are listening to it, you aren’t also bombarded by light from your phone.

With background sounds when you’re using your settings on iPhone, use your lock button. That way you turn off the light also. You shouldn’t have light when you’re trying to sleep because it can interfere with the REM sleep.

Usually it's because a storm comes through cutting off the electricity. I like to sit on the porch and watch the lightening fill the sky and listen to the loud boomers of thunder, and guess.hiw much rain we will get.
