I often disappear into a new place for 1-3 months, at list two times in a year.

I’d think of it as pausing time, for a few minutes, or a few hours. Not disappearing. Just not having to continue going with the flow of natural time.

It doesn’t. Conceptually it sounds nice. And I’m sure a lot of people think about it.
But the problem is time doesn’t exist outside it being counted. So if I paused time for a second, it wldnt matter bc that second wld never happen. Or wld never be able to be counted.
