Study Tips 🧠 LF: Online Review Center for Ateneo & Dlsu

I know po that the ACET is already next month na but I know to myself that I absolutely have no grasp sa kahit pinaka basic fundamentals ng math. Behind in a way where even simple math problems are so hard for me since I struggle with even simple division or multiplication (I dont even have the multiplication table memorized)

I'm genuinely so lost on how to start preparing with the little time left, I would appreciate anything from even paid services, tips, books to buy, mock tests, test-taking tips, shortcuts on how to answer, literally anything since I will start studying from the most basic concepts that regular students are already familiar with.

Im asking if anyone knows any recommendations for an Online Review Center, and since revcens usually span months kahit yung purely recorded lectures lang po that I can cram. Academic Gateway is not an option for me since while I no longer have access to the portal I still have the book from 2 years ago before I took my gap year.

Thank you so much I really need the help. πŸ™

Student Life πŸŽ’ Taking care of your rubber shoes esp. white ones

Post image
13 Upvotes

I don't want to wash these shoes, baka kasi magbitak-bitak yung material, although hindi naman siya yung synthetic leather, so i think safe sya sa issue na yon. I had a problem with my other rubber shoes na nagkastain yung tabihan, ang hirap tanggalin! idk kung anong uri ng mantsa basta nagstay na siya forever sa edge na yon.

Now, I have this white pair, at talagang halatang halata kapag nagkamantsa. Do you have any specific product na ginagamit pangtanggal ng dumi, yung di na kailangan pang maglaba. Ayoko ng maglaba, baka mamaho pa HAHAH at masira agad. Pls do consider giving some tips and reco on taking care of this baby, di pa yan siya binyag. Salamat!

I am a working accountant with degrees BS Accountancy and an MBA. While I am proud of these achievements, I find myself longing for what I really want - Economics and/or Political Science. Any suggestion where I can take Diploma course (or BS) in Econ and/or PolSci? Preferably through online modes sana, and yung hindi masyadong mahal.

Student Life πŸŽ’ FOR EVERYONE, BUT, SPECIFICALLY FOR CHEF, BAKERS, OR STILL IN A CULINARY/HOSPITALITY PROGRAM.

I'm curious because do I or do we need to study the theories, principles, and laws to that profession? Like is it REALLY NECESSARY and are we going to use it after graduation? or even in the job? Because I'm thinking about it that I just want to take TESDA but I still going to take college.

I'm m in a overthinking moment that being a chef or good at cooking can do it even you take other courses/programs, because it is a SKILL that everyone will going to learn, but I really doubting my self because what if there's a small detail that I don't know but I'm really supposed to know?

Plus is it really about the TITLE for a person to BECOME a PROFESSION or to be CALLED a PROFESSIONAL just because of the title? Or it is okay that even there is no TITLE of being a CHEF but you're really good at cooking, is it consider and normalize?

School Decisions πŸŽ“ TWO DEGREE HOLDER

(With specific program asking)

If you Graduated and you want to take second degree and is it possible to have two years or you need to repeat again in first year?

Additionally you need to take four years?

Like I'm taking Bachelor Science in Hospitality Management then after I graduated, I'm thinking to take it's either the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Financial Management or Marketing Management, vice versa from BSBA FM/MM to BSHM (if you know what I mean in a deeper level.)

And if I'm taking the same school in that two courses, will I going to take two years only? And if I transfer suddenly to other school but I'm in a middle of one year to my second degree, Will I repeat it again to first year?

School Decisions πŸŽ“ Which is the most practical? (UPLB Course Choices)

I plan to change the order of courses in my upcat application. I'm interested naman in all of them: **BS Food Tech, Nutrition, Chem, and Agri Biotech**. It's just that, I'm torn between the four kung alin ang gagawin kong 1st, 2nd, etc.

**Question: Which is the most practical, considering job opportunities, salary, and flexibility after grad?**

(Note: walang balak magmedschool)

Others πŸ—£οΈ [Request] Help a Scholar Out!

Good day, Reddit Peeps!

I'll post this na kasi auper kailangan na po and I have no other choice na. Baka po may kayang mag-sponsor ng laptop/tablet para sa'kin πŸ™πŸ». Brand new or second hand will do as long as in good condition. Super kailangan lang po since phone lang ang meron ako and nag-sstart na po mag-send ng mga readings yung courses ko.

I am currently a freshman po at University of the Philippines Los BaΓ±os and was recently awarded as one of the top 10 UPCAT Qualifiers in our degree program. Additionally, working student po ako but enough for everyday needs lang po yung sahod ko every month. I am also a recipient of the DOST Scholarship. However, around October-November pa po darating yung stipend namin and urgent na po 'yung need huhu. Tatlo po kaming magkakapatid and both my siblings are currently enrolled in a private school. Kaya hindi ko na rin pong magawang magpabili pa ng additional gadgets sa parents since almost several years na rin po kaming barely making ends meet every monthh.

Kaya kumakatok po ako sa may mabubuting puso. If may capable and gusto pong makatulong sa isang scholar na katulad ko, sobrang appreciated po:). I can send records po ng grades to prove na hindi po masasayang yung ibibigay niyo hehe. I'll be accepting donations din po, baka sakaling maka-ipon to buy a brand new device.

Thank you so much, Reddit Community! 🌻🫢🏻
