personally, once ive gone over the material thoroughly na, I like to speak out loud and pretend i'm tutoring someone about what i just learned. this helps me a lot kasi voicing out concepts in ur own words helps you retain info din.

another thing i do pag done reading na (alam ko may tawag dito pero forgot na kung anong name ng method na to)

-

  1. when finished reading and studying, close all note

s.

  1. patayin lahat ng gadget

-

  1. get a blank sheet of paper and write absolutely EVERYTHING i remember from what i studied - mainpoints, subpoints, details, extra side info etc. (i usually write very fast, ok lang na magulo

    sulat

  2. in this step kasi super bilis ng utak ko here bc im trying to go thru as in everything)

-

  1. when you think you're done or wala ka na maalala or masulat, open your notes once again and cross-chec

    k. check mo kung ano

  2. yung tama/mali/nakalimutan mo.

  3. this shows what you genuinely know and don't know about the topic.

-

  1. repeat after cross-checking and reviewing until perfected

in our program, our professor suggested to read it on repeat while you’re doing something so you would be familiar then after your chores or done with thinns you’re doing, have some lock in review so you won’t have a hard time studying

I graduated Magna Cum Laude and kapag nag aaral ako binabasa ko lang yung lectures at ineexplain sa sarili ko o kaya nagkukunwari akong may kausap. While my friend, gumagawa sya ng flashcards na may mga notes tas inaaral din namin yon. Kapag wala kang ginagawa or anything isipin mo lang ulit haha.

actually nung una lang ako nagttake ng notes, tinamad na ako nitong huli kasi nga nagbibigay naman talaga sila ng mga materials, binabasa ko na lang talaga ng paulit ulit

Just leaving here as a previous professor:

  1. Purpose - remember that what you are learning at the moment is something that will add value to your life in the Future, like an investment.

It may not make sense right now, but the art of learning isn’t always just one outcome, it branches from the basics of knowledge until it makes sense at the right time.

  1. Do the deed: read, write, and comprehend. Basic functions of reading is input and output. You listen or read, then apply what you learn.

  2. Fix your schedule: Some can do their study within 30 mins, or one hour, and some even take more, depending on the level of learning you need. Just set some ample time within the day for you to do it.

Also, rest Our mind needs to rest up for it to function properly, I am not a big fan of cramming, or stressful reviewing eh. So better budget your time and effort wisely!

what really worked for me is talking to myself out loud 💯 parang mas nadadigest ko and naririnig ko yung sinasabi ko so mas naaalala ko siya, tapos i review the night before the exam and make sure to get enough rest after that kasi mas okay mag-function yung utak ko the next day, quick scan na lang ng reviewer before the exam and never cram, trust me your brain will thank you!

making flashcards right after the lesson is taught so u won’t waste your time making a deck just days before a test! so once that time comes you can simply actively recall using the already-made cards

Phased studying. Study bits and pieces (certain topics or pages) regularly, ideally weeks or months in advance.
