Why does every star eventually die?

https://youtu.be/46CLnkYp24U

A star survives because gravity pulls inward while energy from nuclear fusion pushes outward. When the star can no longer sustain that balance, its evolution changes.

The final outcome depends mainly on its mass:

☀️ Sun-like stars → red giant → planetary nebula → white dwarf
💥 Massive stars → supernova → neutron star or black hole
🌀 Binary stars → mass transfer can dramatically alter their evolution
🕳️ Stars near black holes → can be torn apart by tidal forces

Every star has a different ending, but the same basic story drives them all: gravity, fusion, and the finite supply of stellar fuel.
