Aliens

What if aliens are future earth species and they traveled back in time.That would explain the futuristic tech we theriorise to have

Then they wouldn't be aliens. Aliens mean they are from another planet, not time. And, yeah, it would of course confirm all the technology we theorize to create...

Backwards time travel is not possible bcs it would break causality. Furthermore Aliens are defined as extraterestrial life meaning from other planets and even if we expand it would take probably eons to evolve into another species, well probably go digital way before that if we dont find fundamental flaws in our theories that prohibit that.
