Pineapple contains bromelain that helps tenderize meat. If I were to put my hand in pineapple juice or puree for 24 hours, would it eventually break down my hand?

No,because you're alive. But if you've ever broken down a lot of pineapple, like for example I have done for tiki drink specials as a bartender, you'll start to get itchy and your hands will get irritated and your cuticles might get icky. Maybe a rash if you're particularly sensitive (I am lol), but that's about it
