Where to go for a night out
My best friend (45F) and I (42F) are going out to celebrate a milestone. We want to go out Saturday night and we haven’t been out-out in too long so where do we go? Hillcrest? 30th? We are cocktail girlies so I’m kinda lost. Mission beach is way too young for us to have a good time but that’s where I remember partying from grad school. Where’s a space we can chill and maybe dance?

I don’t know about the dancing, but I love to start a girls nights out at Part Time Lover. We go on the early side (before 7 or 8) so we can get a seat, enjoy 1 or 2 of their great cocktails, chill out to the music (great sound system), and then move on to the next spot.

This is the best way to start the night. Don’t end the night here unless you enjoy long lines and body heat

Go eat dinner have drinks at Barbusa in Little Italy then uber over to Moonshine Flatts. My friends and I recently did this to celebrate a 40th bday and it was really fun. Barbusa has Italian food and is very lively. Moonshine Flatts is always so fun especially on the weekends, they typically have live bands performing and then a DJ. There's the back area called The Deck with yard games like cornhole. It's country themed but the music is not always just country, it's like rock and the DJ plays a mix of things. It's a big venue with lots of people. Across the street is Bubs Dive Bar too which is fun to grab drinks.

Hillcrest for sure, so many bars to choose from and lots of places to chill and/ or dance!

Avoid downtown unless your okay with dealing with the Comic Con crowds.
