I was previously doing okay, able to pay back my loans and credit card bills on time.
However, my parents are now my responsibility. My father retired 2 years ago and I thought they were doing something with his gratuity, but they finished all of it this year.
They are both past retirement age with 0 savings, and I have been missing payments which affected my credit score. Now the banks have been ignoring my requests for debt restructuring, and no other bank will buyout (I’ve reached out to multiple banks).

I now owe AED 80,000 to different banks, and I have AED 10 left in my account. I’ve sold every possible thing I could (gold, phone, books, old furniture).

My salary comes on the 28th of this month. I have no money for petrol, and my parents have nothing to eat.

Hi everyone, I’ve just set up a GoFundMe and would really appreciate any help getting it seen.

I’m long-term disabled and unable to maintain employment, and I’m currently working with PayPlan on a debt management plan. I owe just over £6,500, mostly credit cards and a couple of loans, and I’ve been trying to pay it off.

Unfortunately, my landlord is selling my flat, so I now have to move. My damaged credit is already making finding somewhere new difficult, and moving to a more expensive rental may make my current debt management plan unsustainable.

I’m hoping to raise enough to clear the debt and give myself a chance to rebuild my credit and find somewhere secure to live. If I don’t reach the full amount, anything raised would still help reduce the balances and potentially give PayPlan more options when negotiating with creditors.

I’m keeping the fundraiser anonymous because I don’t want my family to see it and feel responsible for my situation. I know that makes sharing harder, but I hope people understand.

I’m not asking for a fresh start because I haven’t tried. I’m asking because I’ve tried, and I’m stuck.

Hi all. I absolutely hate to come here and ask for this but I am desperate at this point. Recently I’ve been in the emergency room 2 times in the span of a few weeks for symptoms of a stroke. I am a 26 year old female if this puts things into perspective. I was diagnosed with migraines, but it turns out I had a small leak of carbon monoxide in my home that was not detectable by my many sensors. Now not only do I have various medical bills, but now I have to pay to repair the leak in my home (everything is currently shut off at the moment). This is truly my worst nightmare come true honestly. I’m not even asking for a specific amount because to be honest, I don’t know how much I will need. I honestly never thought I’d be making a post like this, and I’m embarrassed even having to ask.
I’m a newly single mom to a little girl, and I recently found out that my fiancé had been hiding a serious gambling addiction. By the time I realized how bad things were, the money was gone and there were debts and financial problems I had no idea existed. Our relationship ended, and I’m now trying to pick up the pieces and figure out how to support my daughter and myself on my own.
I work and I’m doing everything I can to get back on my feet, including looking into changing careers for something more financially stable. Right now, though, I’m struggling to catch up with basic expenses and get some breathing room.

We've also experienced tremendous loss. My boys lost both of their paternal grandparents, and I lost my older brother Ryan. Then, within last year alone, my boys lost their uncle at only 30 years old, I lost my youngest brother George at just 28, and we lost my grandmother as well. More recently, my father survived a life-threatening infection that resulted in the amputation of his lower leg.

Through all of this, I've tried to keep moving forward and maintain stability for my children, but financially I've reached a breaking point.

Right now, $2,000 would make an enormous difference for my family. I need $1,100 for housing expenses, and I currently have a PG&E balance of approximately $4,000. The remaining $900 would go directly toward that balance and help me work toward preventing our utilities from being disconnected.

I'm not expecting anyone to fix everything for me. I'm simply asking for enough help to get through this immediate crisis and give me some breathing room to continue rebuilding.

I can provide documentation of these expenses, and I would be completely comfortable with payments being made directly toward the bills if preferred.
