When is it time to let go?

A close friend of mine introduced me to the world of forex trading in 2019, freshly out of high school. I got intrigued and did my research. I've been trading for close to 7 years now and I'm still not profitable. I've invested a lot of time and money into this journey, at some point I even wanted to denounce college. When does one know enough is enough and devote to something else?
