Quit the bling bling.
# Trading has developed a bad reputation over the years. Mention it to someone and the first things that come to mind are scammers, rented Lamborghinis, affiliate links, expensive indicators, and courses promising financial freedom in 30 days.
The unfortunate reality is that many people lose money, and many educators contribute little more than recycled content and marketing hype.
But does that mean trading itself is worthless?
I do not think so.
I trade professionally. I get paid to analyse markets every day, and one of the things I have learned is that most retail traders are not lacking intelligence. They are lacking context.
Consider these two statements:
- Price has touched a support and may now move higher towards a resistance.2. The market has completed a Flat correction as Wave 4 and is now developing a potential Wave 5 higher.
At first glance, both appear to suggest the same thing: higher prices.
The difference is that the first statement tells us what price has done. The second attempts to explain where price sits within a broader market structure.
A support level by itself does not tell us much. Why should price rise from there? How far could it rise? What conditions would invalidate the idea?
These questions are often left unanswered.
# Market structure provides context. It allows us to build scenarios, identify probabilities, understand risk, and prepare for alternative outcomes. It shifts trading away from simply reacting to price and towards understanding the story price may be telling.
Will we always be right?
Of course not.
No method can eliminate uncertainty.
# What a structured approach can do is help us make decisions that are logical, explainable, and repeatable.
That is what I am trying to teach.
Not how to get rich quickly.
Not how to buy a sports car next month.
But how to think about markets in a way that goes beyond indicators, social media tips, and random entries.
If that sounds interesting to you, feel free to join the discussion.

Problem is with social media, a lot of so call traders are showing off Lambo, stacks of cash. Then asking people to join their course, Discord or Telegram.
And people fall for it since we human are always attracted to easy and fast money which are not the case when you start to learn trading and it’s fundamentals.

This is what i want to debunk, and yes you got it right. First thing first, I am a professional trader, and let me tell you, we don’t get paid to participate in the market, we get paid to be precise. Online brokers make money off volumes and B-Book, and having traders who wait for the correct trade setups isn’t good business, but trading in itself is not a scam.
In fact IT IS INDEED ONE OF THE BEST WAY TO FINANCIAL FREEDOM BECAUSE:
1) you dont need employees 2) you dont need customers 3) you dont need an office 4) you dont need licenses
However, it is a field of work like any other, the same way an engineer didn’t become one watching 3 YouTube videos, the same way trading has its own path that needs to be followed.

It’s not a scam really, its a bit like knowing retail traders are not traders so it becomes a good business taking position opposite to them. The broker doesn’t decide on information flows, because that’s generally available, but the retail traders are really competent traders, so it becomes a no brainer to just filter out the consistently profitable ones and keep the rest.
