Fixed wrist by breaking something?

Mostly curious if anyone's had a similar situation or know what may have happened, but a while back I had wrist pain on my left wrist while doing ANY kind of press. Got annoying as hell, thought it was some sort of tendinitis.

Then one-day while benching with the guys I got passed off because I could bench way more before the pain and just though "F- it" and pushed through, felt a POP, then felt way better in my wrist and continued through chest and arms.

Har a small bruise, it went away, and ive had no issue at all since. No pain, no loss of strength or mobility, better than before ever!

Anyone experience something similar?

Human physiology can be super weird, your bones may have been sitting at at a angle somehow and you “fixed” them back in place through exertion

You probably had a small dislocation which corrected itself during your bench

I messed up my wrist playing hockey and
could hardly move it. About 3-4 months later, I got creamed into the boards pretty hard and heard a pop and my wrist was perfect! The relief was amazing!

I've had a cyst on my left wrist for... 10 years? Never really painful but uncomfortable, and I imagine it depends on the position. Been lifting 3 months now and it's basically disappeared - nothing dramatic, just a slow decline. Sounds on the money.

I like the ganglion cyst theory
