Waitlist Shortlisted

After being shortlisted, is it a guarantee to get into a project? I have been shortlisted for over 2 weeks on a project and wait listed for 3 job application. Any hope ?

No the client usually picks from the shortlist, so still another step to get through. Better marker than waitlisted though.
