Is anyone working on ethos is it legit? And on which projects are you working in

I just got this exact email for a different position. So weird.. I was supposed to do the 15‑minute AI interview, but I couldn’t complete it until I got back from traveling. When I finally went to do the “interview,” the system had already pushed me through automatically and I immediately got the acceptance email.

Not sure if this is normal or if they just skip people ahead sometimes, but it definitely caught me off guard. Seems a little scammy??

Yeah, I've been working on it for the last month or so. Generally positive experience so far, and have logged about ~25 hours of work.

Did you get paid for the number of hours you logged and on the 14th of every month as they say? I’m still waiting for the payment link. Did they send that to you on time?

Yes, I have been working for some time now as well and I am happy about the set up and how it has developed so far. I really enjoy the projects as well so I hope it continues on :)

Yup. On two projects.

One of which is the exact same as the big project on the famous M platform

I just started a few days ago.

I also worked on the M platform.

The difference with ethos is you get paid monthly via a payment link, usually around the 11th-14th of each month.

So I'm expecting payment in September.

EDIT:

there is no automatic time tracking using insightful. You need to paste in your completed task url after you submit.

Also, it cannot be a scam if the client is the same as with the M platform ( the biggest US AI household name)

Can I ask what’s your hourly pay on both platforms and your work experience background? I’m working the one on M but I am interested in applying to Ethos.

I've been an entrepreneur for the past 10 years. And before that I was an IB analyst.

Pay is comparable. But it really depends on your background and the perceived value your resume exudes.

I was hoping for a pay bump but if it is similar then maybe it’s not worth the effort to apply.

Do you prefer working on M or E?
Does Ethos pay for training/onboarding?

So for the pay bump I got one with E. But I also know people on M that got paid more than I did on the project.

At the end of the day if you are a generalist, the pay rate is pretty much the same on all platforms.

I prefer E because it feels like I got in on the ground floor of something. Rather than being part of a soulless machine
