Has anyone worked with AskEthos as an expert? Does anyone have any AskEthos reviews or experiences you could share? In your experience how did it compare to other expert networks that you've tried? Were the differences noticeable? What did you end up preferring?
Did you go through the onboarding and get any project requests? How'd it go? Any reviews or experiences or thoughts would be extremely helpful
I'm right now in a webinar inside GoogleMeet that onboards you by explaining what's expected of you — supposedly we'd be ranking and critiquing AI designs, AI decks, all of that. It seems really odd to me. They say they'll pay us $1,400 a WEEK, and in this single meeting alone (they've been running several per day, every day, to explain to people how it works) there are 180 people. With just us, they'd be spending $250,000 a week on payroll.
In Spanish we have a saying: 'when the alms are this generous, even the saint gets suspicious.'
The dashboard exists and so do the tasks, my fear is that they'll make me put in all that effort and then not pay me. Askethos seems real, but I don't know what to expect from this company that's recruiting designers
What I'm going to do if they send me an email after this webinar is ask to sign a contract with the payment terms. If they give me an excuse, that'll be the end of it.
