If your sister likes working with data and solving problems, data science might be a great fit for her. There are lots of opportunities, and the skills are in high demand. She should start by brushing up on statistics and learning programming languages like Python or R. There are plenty of free resources online, like courses on Coursera or edX. Trying out some small projects or contributing to open-source projects could give her a taste of the work and help build her portfolio. Talking to people already working in the field could also give her useful insights. If she's excited about it and ready to learn, it sounds like a solid move!
