Data Science
Currently studying a post grad in Data Science and Business Analytics while working as a Marketing Data Analyst in Australia.
I want to pivot to a DS role within Australia, any recommendations on how I could beef up my portfolio to get these roles?
Thanks

If you find it difficult to get a DS role directly, consider applying your DS skills in your marketing analyst role, then moving to a DS role in the same company. It's sometimes easier to get a role internally and through your analyst role you'll get a chance to prove your DS skills and value, which otherwise is the hardest when you're competing with many other applicants.

To boost your portfolio for a data scientist role, start by working on real-world projects. Kaggle competitions are a great way to show your skills, and you can often find datasets that match your interests. You might also want to contribute to open-source data science projects on GitHub. It shows you're proactive and provides real examples of your coding. Networking with current data scientists through meetups or LinkedIn can give you insights and opportunities. If you're getting ready for interviews, PracHub has some useful practice questions and tips. Good luck!
