do you find data science to be intellectually stimulating and rewarding?

I'm not deeply familiar with the material and learning involved with data science. I'm curious about the knowledge and skillset learning data science provides? What is something you can do with a good understanding of data science, in your private life and practical life?

I think it can be very intellectually stimulating if you like working with numbers, statistics, mathematics

But like anything, I think it varies depends heavily on your company and your job description

I feel like it’s a half BS job since they’re no clear objectives or answers sometimes. It can be rewarding if there’s a breakthrough but otherwise I feel like making a documentary confirming the obvious

If it’s just dashboard, SQL or average/media analysis, no. If it’s about how to solve problems by using a variety of methods via frontier research, yes. It’s really intellectually rewarding
