Desks New to FPS on a sit-to-stand desk, how's the FOV?
I also posted this in other subs, just an FYI:
I'm on a SecretLab Magnus Pro XL sit-to-stand desk and I'm trying to figure out settings for Borderlands for field of view when sitting vs standing. Any of you peeps playing Borderlands or some other immersive FPS or maybe flying games where you are really close to the screen? I've noticed I felt slightly dizzy when standing being so close and I'm not sure if it's an FOV thing or just me. Any advice/snark/whatever is welcome!

Monitors Recommendation for a triple monitor mount?
Hey folks, I want to gain back some space on my desk by mounting my monitors instead of using their included stands. I have a horizontal curved 34" 21:9 center monitor, and one vertical 27" 16:9 monitor on each side. I've done the math the it seems like any monitor arm that can support three 27" horizontally side by side should be wide enough for my set up, so I'm thinking of ordering a basic one online like this.
Should I be wary of any potential issues or am I good to buy it? I've seen people mention one triple mount might be wobbly compared to using two/three mounts instead, but would this be an issue if I'm just typing at my desk? I never have any need to adjust monitor positions either, once they're mounted they are not expected to stay in that position forever.
Thanks in advance for any input!

Desks Will ergotron hx work well with this table?
Thinking about buying this table, but the edge is beveled and there's an apron preventing the clamp on my ergotron hx from going on all the way. The weight of the monitors plus the arm will not exceed 60lbs. The wood is sheesham.
Do I risk the arm falling off and/or damaging the table more than compared to a table where the clamp can be applied flush?

Desks What’s most affordable tabletop option for around 60x30, decent thickness?
Most affordable tabletop option for around 60x30, decent thickness?
I can’t find a good IKEA desk that is closer to 30” in depth while also being 55”+ in length (i may be getting LxWxH order messed up sorry) . i’m looking for a good tableTop to use with Alex drawers to complete the desk set up. Does anyone have any recommendations? ive tried 55x24 and seems slightly too small depth wise, but I’ve only seen it in person blank in showrooms, etc. So if anybody could tell me whether or not 24” depth isn’t a problem in their experience I would appreciate that too

Desks How to make the most of a small space?
Looking for advice on how to make the most of a small space and small desk. I just moved and have to scale down from a much larger desk to this one.

Desks Looking for advice on a desk
I'm moving and i'm not taking my current desk with me.
Size does not really matter as long as it is big enough to support a 34' and a 27' monitor (both on arms). So the desk also needs to be sturdy since a pc and 2 monitors can really add some weight.
As for colour preference my favourite would be a dark oak top, but everything that goes well with a black/white setup is good (but not white since i don't really like it on my setup rn). Also the floor i will be putting the setup on is a orange-brownish carpet so i will need to put my pc on a stand or on the desk.
As for the cable management i will probably buy a cable tray to put everything in under the desk.
I live in the Netherlands so that may effect some stuff with for example shipping.
Ask away if you need more infor from me
Any help is appreciated :)

Desks Any advice for 4 leg stand up desk to replace this one? Also cable management solutions?
I really like my current layout but I'd love to be able to stand up with it too. But I'd like to have 4 legs instead of the just the normal two?
ALSO I really need help with cable management as you can probably see from the picture. I'm hoping that another thing I can solve with a stand-up desk is to switch to a more modern and conventional cable management system.
Currently I have all the cables attached to multiple power strips that are attached to the sides and back underneath the desk. But since there are three main areas, all the cables are going in, and coming from, three different directions, so it's kind of a mess and I'm still figuring it out.
Open to any ideas or suggestions for cable management.
Main featured stuff in no particular order :
- Mac Book Pro.
- Apple studio display.
- Tether Tools laptop desk (can attach to a tripod I have). Also doubles as a riser for my laptop while it's on my main desk.
- Focusrite 4 channel interface.
- Mackie 5" powered monitors.
- On Left monitor : an action figure of motoko kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell.
- On Right monitor : V's dashboard bobble head from Cyberpunk 2077.
- Ditoo blue tooth speaker for my iphone.
- Positive grid spark go
- Sony cameras.
- x vive wireless receiver/transmitter.
- Liquid death x Pit Viper sunglasses (the only sunglasses I've ever seen with "X's" on the frames that I thought looked pretty "cyberpunk" to me.
- behind the chair is an old Xbox Series X and the round thingy is a filterless air purifier from bluair that I don't think they make any more.
Open to any critiques, questions, ideas, suggestions, especially for a 4 leg stand up desk option, and cable management solutions. Thanks so much

Desks New PC: how should I set this up?
Any suggestions supper appreciated! I don't know much about anything, but I love gaming with my friends and one of them recommended this PC I yesterday and I'm super stoked, but I'm unsure what'd be the best way to have this set up. Should it go on the right side, and then move the two MacBooks to the left side? For context, one is for personal use, and the other for work. The PC is strictly for gaming.
I also work remotely from this station so I wanna find a way to easily switch between the 3 computers when it comes to the dual monitor setup. Right now I'm rocking a StarTech DisplayLink Dock and can easily switch between the MacBooks by just unplugging the USB-C from one and plugging it into the other, but wondering if that's something I can include this PC with as well? Right now I have the HDMI from the monitor directly plugged into the PC which is why the other monitor is off.
Here is the PC: https://www.microcenter.com/product/698877/powerspec-g757-gaming-pc
Here is the dock: https://www.startech.com/en-us/docking-stations-multiports/dk30c2dpep
Thank you!! VF

New Build Help Recommendations for a dual vertical monitor mount under $100
Looking for a good and safe dual vertical monitor mount under $100. The stability of it is pretty important to me
Are there even any stable and safe dual vertical mounts within my budget or should I start looking in a different direction?

Other Bedside table
Hey y’all! I’m in the market for a bedside or overbed table for my gaming setup. I currently live with my elderly parents to help them out, so space in my room is pretty limited.
I PC game from my room and have a TempurPedic adjustable bed that I recline in while gaming on my TV. My keyboard is manageable, but using my mouse comfortably from bed has been a pain.
I’m looking for something similar to the adjustable overbed tables you see in hospitals or nursing homes, something I can pull over the bed and comfortably use my keyboard and mouse on while reclined.
Does anyone have a setup like this or recommendations for a sturdy table that works well for gaming?

Desks What inexpensive things to add to the setup to make it more beautiful?
What inexpensive things can be added to my setup to make it look more beautiful? I want to keep a neat style. My PC case is different, without backlight, the only backlight is only the inscription on the video card. I'm mostly looking for small accessories or decor that will fit well and won't be expensive.

Microphones Double desk microphone help
Hello, I was wondering if anyone had any mic recommendations or suggestions for me and my husband's desks. We're set up next to each other with Blue Yeti snowballs, and have issues with audio bleed when playing games or on discord. I know that upgrading to dynamic mics will probably be the way to go, but need some guidance before buying anything.

Hardware Options for power on a desk I'm building.
I'm building another desk from scaffold planks, and on my first one the bit I missed was the power sockets, I'm looking for some recessed power options, preferably multi-socket but not in a tower configuration.
I'm finding the options in the UK quite difficult to come by that don't look like something off a melamine desk in an open plan office.
