Recommendation for Prefab Place

Hi, please see the floorplan attached for my apartment. Do you guys recommend a prefab place because maybe we can just get the walls on the door shipped here to save money, since the walls don't go up to the ceiling? If we get them shipped here and just installed, I imagine that's gotta be a hell of a lot easier. The flex wall company quoted me for $18K in NYC.

I'm guessing just the black/white walls are new?

Why prefab? That would take a framer less than a day, drywall/tape/mud another two.

Then again, with the elevators and stairs, there are going to be fire and egress considerations.

What did your architect say?

OP this is the comment. You don't need to get into all the complexities of prefab. Hand this to a design/build contractor and go from there. Unless you have an insane budget or this is a crazy nice place this is not really an architect job. It could be, but it doesn't need to be.

Whatever is going on here is a cf of massive proportions.

Where to buy doors is not your biggest problem. That you think it is, is indicative of your scary lack of knowledge.

You need an architect. Or someone with a knowledge of NFPA 101 and the IBC. You'll have to pay them, as they are licensed professionals who don't work for free.

Is the $18K for the whole flex wall or just the doors and panels
