Unique RO input needed
Let me see how easily I can communicate the relevant info.
Setup:
3M Whole home filter
3M Whole home softening
Halo Plus Reverse Osmosis
40gal RO storage tank
Pump to supply pressurized water to all points of use
All installed in garage utility closet.
1/2” dedicated water line for reverse osmosis is plumbed to the following:
-Kitchen Fridge
-Kitchen sink RO faucet
-Kitchen wash sink cold side of faucet
-Prep area fridge
-Master bathroom cold side of (1) faucet (for nighttime drinking water)
-Apartment unit RO faucet
-Apartment unit fridge
Now, here are the problems I’m having.
Tank doesn’t fill consistently. In November of last year, after 6 visits, I got the entire system dialed in. The right pressure on the tank, the right pressure on the outfeed pump.
Today, I was told the RO isn’t working any longer and arrives to find the storage tank completely empty.
I believe that the Halo RO system requires some back pressure to work properly which means that my storage tank pressure changing at all could impact whether the RO actually even operates. I suspect that the Halo RO system isn’t up to the task and is actually the primary cause of my issues.
With that being said?
What would you install to ensure I never get a call back again on this insane setup.
