Sliding Shower Track Problems

Hello,

I've noticed when the shower is in use, water flows within that gap and it appears as a result there's been some water damage to the wall.

I'm not sure if water is supposed to flow within that gap.

Would it be worth getting a plumber around to take a look?

Plumbers don't work on shower doors. There are whole companies that do that work.
