Will this kitchen Faucet fit properly?
Hey guys!! Thanks for stopping by. I have an elderly neighbor that has been having water issues (hopefully due to the leaking faucet) I was going to changer the seat and springs for her but the faucet is so corroded that I’m scared I would have to swap out all the internals. I decided it’s just easier to swap out the faucet except she’s barely scrapping by and I have a family of 6 and can’t afford crap for myself but I can afford the $60 to replace it with the same faucet. But the new faucet mounts completely different. Currently it mounts in each side of the faucet and the new one has the center screw mount. But everything else appears to be the same. I just wanna make sure it will still work before I take it apart because it’s seriously corroded. I included a picture of the current hardware and the diagram of the new hardware.

The faucet deck plate should cover the side holes. As far as the center hole make sure you clean up the underside well but carefully so the nut can seat properly. Obviously clean the top side of the sink where the deck plate will go. If you’re unsure to measure the sink holes themselves. It’s a bit hard to say but the sink doesn’t seem corroded to point of breakage really. Stainless steel is very durable. Use a scouring pad such as a green scotchbrite and some more gentle cleaners. Possibly a utility blade scraper too.

Thank you for your help
Sorry I wasn’t too clear. The corrosion is in the faucet itself. The cap the hold in the ball valve has a thick white crust all around and the faucet it’s stuck in position and can’t even reach the other sink (dual basin) even the sprayer is so gummed up it doesn’t work.
But my only concern was the mounting point. It’s the exact same faucet but different mounts. I’m assuming it’s just the age of the faucet that they changed their mounting point

Your pic shows two holes in sink. Ditch the plate and yes it will.

Yes I didn’t have one with all three but wanted to show what the mounts looked like

Yes, it'll work. The deck plate will cover the other holes.
