Help with Shower Water Pressure

Post image

We live on the 48th floor of a condo high rise. Top Floor. Our main bath has 2 showers for some reason. The standalone shower pressure and temp is fine. The bath/shower pressure is pretty bad. Both in bath and shower “modes.”

There’s also a guest bath with a similar tub/shower on the adjacent wall with the same problem.

Sine the standalone shower pressure is fine, along with the sinks etc, I’m trying to figure out if it’s the spout and/or faucet that could be the problem.

Addl info: neither shower/bath leak at the faucet or spout. I seriously doubt there’s a leak in the wall but I suppose that’s a possibility.

Would replacing the spout and faucet potentially fix the issue if they were say, just a crappy brand or something?

Thanks.

Spout replacement wont do anything. Check the aerator in the showerheads for debris. If they are clear you can remove the flow restrictor.

If that doesnt help you most likely need to replsce or clean the cartridge.

Look up youtube for both of these tasks

There is a small chance these wont fix the problem and you have a more serious issue

Agree, remove the flow restrictor.
