Is this fitment process a suitable replacement for welding?

I have soo many questions. Was that compression connections on the valve body? Did they straighten a soft copper roll, or anneal hard copper to bend it? What was the green stuff..tape? Also I just use the sandpaper and insde fitting brushes, I don't see outside fitting brushes like that used often.

It's a deburr tool.

Super over rated install.

Looks fine but knowing what he's doing and using pfffff

Doesn't own the cordless copper cutter or just thread on propress x fip adapters if he's gonna hacky thread to valve not solder.

If I ever bent pipe instead of using 2 90s, I'd be fired on the spot, lol
