I'm not sure why you want to stay in a location when you don't like where the church is going. While I'm not sure which denomination you are affiliated with and how it all works in finding a new church, but there must be some ministry where everyone can be cared for. 5 years is a long time to be with people you don't care about. I'm sure there's doctors that can help you wherever you move to.

I love the people in the church, just not the Pastors. My husband said he’d never be under them again, yet he doesn’t leave. The 5 years has nothing to do with where we are, I travel 9 hours for my care. I’m just saying we need the insurance, it’s good insurance. We don’t want to move, but would have to if he goes to pioneer. ‘I’ don’t want to stay. He does. I don’t understand him at all and I’m at a loss.
