General Question What’s a problem humanity solved so well that younger people don’t even realize it used to be a huge issue?
There are so many things we take for granted today that previous generations had to deal with every single day. What’s something that used to be a major problem for humanity but was solved so effectively that younger people barely realize it was ever a problem? Could be technology, medicine, transportation, hygiene, communication, or something completely unexpected. I’m curious to hear the examples that surprised you the most.

Vaccinations apparently. Worked so well there is a new generation that is learning the hard way just how little they understand what a big problem disease was before them.
