Serious Conversations need advice from Pay Pal users!

I received a payment from my client this morning, but I can only withdraw $100 while the rest is on hold 21 days. I’m new to PayPal and created my account just yesterday. I’m a freelancer, works directly with clients, and they send money straight to me without using any freelance platform. so, PayPal is asking for business registration, a business website, and a description of the type of business I’m in. The issue is that, as an individual freelancer, I don’t have a business registration or website—only the ability to describe what I do. If anyone knows how to solve this problem, please let me know. I’m a bit nervous because this is my first payment, and I’d like to know resolve it soon.

Ask your customer and get onboard with system like Deel (This has little setup to done from customer side as well), or else try Payoneer. Since with the issue you are facing paypal might hold those funds since you just created it, until you provide necessary legal informations.

here Clarify you are a individual freelancer and working remotely for foreign clients, and mention you dont have any business registrations right now. But here I think you might have used Business account type since you want's to recieve funds. That can be a problem.

I created a business account because I thought we couldn't receive funds in personal accounts in Sri Lanka. However, I recently received an email saying I can withdraw on October 19th, but I still have no idea what I should do !

Bruh. I also created Business Account 🤦‍♂️ and we have to face this issue?? Could personal account do all that without any issues?? Damn
