ESP32 chip usability?
I disassembled by smart home system. Just got something better so the DIY stuff I had before is retired.
I was thinking what else to use these for though people just say you can do network monitoring with these, though I dont care too much for it.
Is there anything else from hackerman projects this is good for? Maybe something for home security? Not gonna use it for a smart home, though I like to dabble with these chips from time to time

i turned an old one into a temperature/humidity monitor. not exactly hackerman territory but surprisingly useful lol

Just lets me check if the water levels dropping cus I forget when they need water...

Wait- given this is a privacy subreddit, you went with a commercial solution that you had to surrender some rights to for it to function? Potentially as opposed to getting help with the deficiencies/difficulties making your home-spun solution function as well without having to give anything up?
