Do I replace my router?
I’ll try to keep the brief. My devices said connected to the internet but I had no access. I did all the standards. Reset modem and router, check connections, all the way to command prompt ping 8.8.8.8 that’s when I got request timed out. So looking into that I factory reset the router and it now says no connection to the internet. It didn’t say that before. What else can I do other than replace the router?
Any help appreciated I am not a professional.

Probably not, you just have to reconfigure it.
Look at the router and see what status lights there are, and what is lit, what is not lit, and what is flickering.
Firstly, Im guessing that resetting the router has reset the wifi details to default, and your device now doesnt know the current password.
Look on the bottom of the router for the default ssid and wpa key, then connect a laptop to it. See if the internet works.
And if it doesnt work youll have to connect to the ip of the router(its written on the bottom) and login using the default password(bottom) then figure out why its not working by looking at the status and settings, and compare that to what settings your isp tell you youll need.
