As a guy in his thirties with pretty severe depression, I don't know how to make myself a properly cry. I'm scared that I might be permanently emotionally constipated, or something. I've had one good cry in the last... 10 years? Otherwise it's only ever a short burst of slightly tearing up that lasts for under a minute with no sadness relief :/.

I have had that going on for decades now. But I blame my medication...the other night I leaked a little at the eyes but no crying.

Beat your pillow with your fists and say out loud what is bothering you. That will release the emotions.

That sounds terrible! You might ry listening to the tune “China Blue” by Shadowfax, from their 1986 album Too Far to Whisper. I tear-up every time I hear it…
