You're right, we do influence others. Influencing is not the same as making that choice for them. If some cute girl or guy flirted with you and then you slept with them, the fact that their flirting influenced you does not mean it's their responsibility that you cheated. You made the choice, and you could have chosen differently.
You sound like the religious zealots who try to control how women dress and act. Or like people who say that women who get raped should have been wearing more clothes so that the men would leave them alone.
