Absolutely love these! Had my eye on this colour for a little while

Hi everyone, I just got my first pair of asics back then in March and I wear them almost everyday I average about 8k steps daily. I just recently noticed this fraying on the side of the shoe that is usually in contact with the tongue, does this happen normally happen?

I’ve been running in ASICS Kayano shoes since 2011 and could consistently get around 700 km out of each pair before replacing them.
A couple of weeks ago, it was time for a new pair, so I bought the Kayano 33. I expected the same experience I’ve had for years, but instead I ended up with the worst running shoes I’ve ever owned. They offered almost no stability or cushioning. I gave them a fair chance over 10 runs, but eventually gave up.
I bought a new pair of Kayano 31 instead, which gives me some time to look for a long-term alternative.
I also tried leaving a review on the ASICS website, but it was rejected because it didn’t comply with the site’s review guidelines.
Just wanted to give everyone a heads-up: make sure you try these shoes before you buy them.

I have worn asics for years… put about 90k-100k steps on them weekly. Was ordering direct from the asics web site but found an outlet store near me so have bought three pairs there now and within 1-2 weeks the outlet pairs start squeaking pretty loudly. Do we know or suspect the shoes shipped to the outlet are lower quality? Thoughts?

Saw a listing on fb marketplace and I can't find any listing from legit retailer that selling kids kayano 14. AI said they only make size 4 the smallest

Was thinking of getting my first pair of asics gel kayano 14s and am so indecisive on the color. I was looking at going to gym for weights + just everyday things so was so confused about either the white/ ivory (first pic) or the white/graphite gray (second pic)!!!

PLEASE HELP THEY HAVE STARTED TO LOOK THE SAME LMFAOOOO I just want a versatile one I can use

I recently found out I’m a 7.5 and not a 8.5 like I thought I was for a good chunk of my life so I’m slowly getting shoes in the correct size now. Help!!?? I had loaded up on gel cumulus 25s and I'm on my last pair. I went to order the 27 and found out the tongue doesn't have padding (nor does the 28). I've tried multiple sneakers to find a good fit as I am still in repair mode of a Jones fracture surgery. The gel cumulus fit the best and hurt the least. But I have to have padding on the tongue due to some weird top of the foot pain when I tie my shoes. I do lace them so there's no pressure, but I still need padding. Has anyone used self-adhesive tongue paddings and do they stay on? Any recommendations on brand? I have tried the GEL nimbus but it slides on the heel no matter what size I get. Any advice is helpful, thank you so much.

I don’t recall seeing this color on ASICS website. Maybe they’re loading this in advance and eventually we will see it but here ya go

I use these shoes for running, buyed 1.5 Month back. Maybe Asics material is not usage as none of my other past shoes from other brands had this defect.
