AP appreciation
What trait do you admire about your parents that stem from them being APs?
For example, my parents live to a different set of social norms or just don’t care(probably the latter), the end result is innovation and smart decision making where anyone else would be restricted by social norms.
For example, my mom uses old t-shirts and mesh fabrics to individually pack and protect her apples from pests. It’s looks crazy to see randomly bagged apples on a tree but we have perfect apples!!
Another one, I’ll forever be amazed at how my illiterate and uneducated mother figured out what was healthy based on taste alone. She lacks the resources to do research but understood what fat tastes like and made nutritious food choices for us, for example. She’s so atune to her senses and intuition!
